DJI Matrice 350 RTK vs Matrice 300 RTK: What's the Difference?

DJI Matrice 350 RTK vs Matrice 300 RTK: What's the Difference?

The DJI Matrice 350 RTK replaced the M300 RTK as DJI's flagship enterprise platform. This comparison helps fleet operators and buyers decide whether to upgrade or which platform to purchase.

Transmission

  • M300 RTK: OcuSync Enterprise, up to 15km range
  • M350 RTK: O3 Enterprise, up to 20km range — lower latency, better interference resistance in urban RF environments

Battery System

  • M300 RTK: TB60 batteries, up to 55 min flight time (dual)
  • M350 RTK: TB65 batteries, up to 55 min flight time (dual)

TB60 and TB65 are not interchangeable. For large fleets, replacing battery inventory is a significant upgrade cost.

Payload Compatibility

The M350 RTK accepts all M300-compatible Zenmuse payloads (H20, H20T, H20N, L1, P1, Z30, XT2). Existing payload investments carry over. The M350 RTK also supports the Zenmuse L2 (second-gen LiDAR) — not compatible with M300 RTK.

Weather Resistance

  • M300 RTK: IP45
  • M350 RTK: IP55 — better protection in rain, dust, and humid field conditions

Remote Controller

  • M300 RTK: DJI Smart Controller Enterprise
  • M350 RTK: DJI RC Plus — larger, brighter screen, longer battery life

Verdict

  • Upgrade to M350 RTK if you need Zenmuse L2, IP55 weather resistance, or O3 Enterprise transmission
  • Stay with M300 RTK if TB60 battery and payload inventory makes the full upgrade cost prohibitive
  • Buy used M300 RTK if budget is constrained and L2 LiDAR is not required
