Pre-Flight Checks (Every Flight)

  • Visual inspection of all arms, hinges, and propellers

  • GPS lock and satellite count verification

  • Compass and IMU status in the app

Every 10 Flight Hours

  • Inspect all arm axis hinges for cracks or looseness
  • Check motor mounts for loose screws (apply threadlocker if needed)
  • Inspect propellers for chips, cracks, or deformation — replace if any damage found
  • Clean camera lens and vision sensor windows
  • Check all cable connectors for corrosion or looseness
  • Review flight logs for any anomalies (motor RPM spikes, voltage sags)

Every 50 Flight Hours

  • Replace propellers (regardless of visible condition)
  • Inspect motor bearings — spin each motor by hand and listen for grinding
  • Check gimbal damping balls for hardening or cracking
  • Inspect all flex cables for kinks or wear
  • Clean cooling fan vents with compressed air
  • Perform full IMU and compass calibration
  • Check battery cycle count — replace batteries approaching end of rated cycle life

Every 100 Flight Hours or Annually

  • Replace motor bearings (proactive replacement)
  • Replace gimbal vibration absorbing board and damping balls
  • Inspect and clean ESC boards
  • Replace cooling fans if showing any noise or reduced airflow
  • Full structural inspection of frame and arm hinges
  • Send to authorized service center for comprehensive inspection (recommended for enterprise operations)
